Again and again there are situations in which highly gifted children can not be sufficiently or properly supported in regular lessons. Then you need additional help such as coaching, mentoring or private lessons. Sometimes, however, the financial expenses for these additional support measures exceed the possibilities of the parents. Then help from third parties is necessary. What next?
1. Step: First of all, have a talk with the teacher, the school's health pedagogue, the school psychology service or the school management regarding additional support.
2. Step: Discuss the funding of the support measure with the school management, if necessary, then apply to the community where you live.
3. Step: Search local or regional foundations and organizations for applications.
